Prince of Liège

Was a courtesy title awarded to King Albert II while he was heir-apparent to the throne of Belgium, used from June 7, 1934, until August 9, 1993. The heir-apparent of Belgium is typically known as Duke of Brabant, as is Philippe, the current heir. The title is connected with the Bishopric of Liège.
