Prince Maurice of Teck
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Prince Maurice of Teck (Maurice Francis George in English, Moritz Franz Georg in German) (29 March 1910 - 14 September 1910) was the third child and second son of Princess Alice of Albany, Countess of Athlone, and Prince Alexander of Teck. He was born at Claremont House.
He died at Schloss Richardsbrunn, and was buried on the grounds of the Ducal Castle Schloss Friedenstein, near Gotha in Germany. In the wake of the British Royal Family relinquishing their Germanic titles in 1917, had Maurice not died as an infant, he would have been styled The Honourable Maurice Cambridge, as the younger son of an Earl.
