Grand Ducal Family of Luxembourg

Prince Louis and his then-girlfriend Tessy Antony welcomed their first child, a boy, christened Gabriel Michel Louis Ronny de Nassau [1], who was born in Switzerland [2] on 12 March 2006. The baby is the first grandchild for the Grand Duke Henri. The godparents were Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg and Ronny Antony, the brother of Tessy.

Louis and Tessy were married on 29 September 2006 at the parish church in Gilsdorf, where their son was christened. Upon his marriage, Louis gave up his succession rights and those of Gabriel, and any of the couple's future children, although Louis retains his title of Prince of Luxembourg and the style of Royal Highness while Tessy and Gabriel (and any of the couple's future children) hold the surname de Nassau with no titles. [3] The family live in Switzerland, where the Prince is studying.
