Jerrimer is a character in the novel Beyond War by Boyd Robertson and Tom Hutchison.

Jerrimer is Prince of Giart at the beginning of the story but quickly becomes King after assassinating his father, Sanda. His also a distant descendant of Alox the Great and able to control Manzorus. He is addicted to nivum, a hallucinogenic/narcotic that can produce prophetic visions or induce bezerker madness. His heavy use warps his mind, feeding him visions of his ancestors, who task him with uniting the world under his Messanic rule.

To do this, he assassinates his father and takes the throne, and begins a plot to gather an army large enough to conquer the continent, and eventually the world. He brokers an alliance between himself and the Emperor of Spiarn, For'Staa. The Emperor sends hims a Glyph as a gift. He calls High General Tomas back from his victory at Arkon to have him executed, due to his (previously unknown) genetic ties to the royal family, in order to remove any threat of succession. After Tomas escapes, Jerrimer continues with his plan, attempting to arrange a marriage between himself and Princess Ilesha of Rulat, in order to place the East under his control. However King Tymm refuses and Jerrimer, enraged, sends an army to Rulat to conquer it by force.

He invites For'Staa and Or'Tizz to the Citadel to see them off. The night the army leaves Tomas and the rest of the group attack Giartar, freeing the warriors of the Sall clan in the prisons beneatht the city.

Before entering the battle, Jerrimer takes a huge amount of nivum, sending him completely mad but making him practically invincible in combat. He slaughters his way through the Sall warriors, spattering his face and armour in a swath of blood before attacking Tomas on his own.

The fight is extremely brutal, pitting Tomas's skill with Manzorus and burning desire for revenge against Jerrimer's drug-enanced reflexes and psychotic strength. Jerrimer eventually beats Tomas down, but in his blind rage oversteps and is stabbed through the gut. Bearly noticing the wound he throws Tomas off him and nearly beats him to death. Manzorus leaps into his hand, bound to serve Alox's DNA. He charges Tomas, but the general's control over Manzorus is stronger and he calls to the sword. Manzorus rips itself out of Jerrimer's hands and flies into Tomas's. Unable to stop in time, Jerrimer can only scream as Tomas cuts him in two, from shoulder to belly, with a flaming Manzorus.

The two charred and smoking halves of Jerrimer's body tumble to the cobblestones.
