The Prince George Spruce Kings are a Tier II Junior "A" ice hockey team from Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. They are a part of the British Columbia Hockey League and the Canadian Junior Amateur Hockey League.
Founded in 1972, the Spruce Kings originally were a part of the Pacific Northwest Hockey League, in the 1975-1976 season, the Spruce Kings joined the Peace Cariboo Junior Hockey League for its inaugural year, winning the inaugural title. In the 1980-1981 the Spruce Kings moved up to the Junior 'A' level, from the Junior 'B', where the Spruce Kings won the league championship. In 1996 the Spruce Kings bought out the BCHL's New West Outlaws, and moved them to Prince George to become the Spruce Kings the following season.
The Prince George Spruce Kings will be hosting the Royal Bank Cup in 2007
