[edit] History
The school was built in 1959 as Woodlawn High School and was relatively small. In 1970 an addition to the school was completed creating a second gym, now known as the new gym, and a new wing. In 1978 and 1986 the last two additions were completed. These addition projects added on new wings to the school, an auditorium, and a bigger library.
