Primus Telecom is a telecommunications provider, founded in 1994 by ex-MCI executives. They are listed on the NASDAQ (Nasdaq: PRTL) with their world headquarters in Fairfax County, with subsidiaries in Australia, Canada, Japan, India, Brazil and other countries making a substantial portion of its revenue.

Primus is well known in Australia, and Canada with these being considered as its bread and butter. Primus is also gaining steady ground in the United States once again; with its product "Lingo". Which is a Voice over IP product similar to Vonage and SunRocket in nature. Lingo is considered unique in its offerings of international calling with better quality than some of its other counter-parts.
