The Price-Anderson Nuclear Industries Indemnity Act regulates financial compensation for victims of nuclear power plant accidents. While guaranteeing a certain minimum level of compensation, through a "pool" system, it drastically limits maximum levels of compensation. even when a plant operator is found criminally negligent.
