A number of the prisoners in the Guantanamo Bay detainment camps, in Cuba, were prisoners of the Taliban prior to their extrajudicial detention in American custody. Some of these prisoners faced allegations of association with terrorist activities during times when they claimed there were in a Taliban prison.
