[edit] Speedy deletion
The fact that a template is obsolete does not match any of the general criteria for speedy deletion in Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion, and there are no specific criteria for templates. This is therefore a spurious request, and I am removing the request banner.
On a more pragmatic level, the effect of adding this request header to a template is to make it look like at least one major article (2012 Summer Olympics) is a candidate for speedy deletion. -- Chris j wood 13:38, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
- If you still feel the template needs deletion, please follow the standard Wikipedia:Templates for deletion procedure. -- Chris j wood 13:41, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] fixed width
...is unacceptable. On my screen, and undoubtedly on some others, 20em is around 40% of the article screen space, and that's a major waste of space for most infoboxes. --Joy [shallot] 01:21, 18 August 2005 (UTC)
Check out Template:Politics of Spain - it makes the table large and empty. --Golbez 20:40, August 20, 2005 (UTC)
- Yep, that's exactly the one where I noticed the problem. --Joy [shallot]
