Pretty Little Lightning Paw is an EP released by A Silver Mt. Zion under the name Thee Silver Mountain Reveries in 2004 on the Constellation Records label. The band have since reverted their name to Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-la-la Band.
Once the album was recorded, it was played back through a stereo in guitarist Efrim Menuck's living room and recorded from that, leaving the album with a very rough sound.
In track 4, There's a River in the Valley Made of Melting Snow, the Hebrew lyric, "baruch atta adonai" (ברוך אתה אדוני), means "bless the Lord."
