Preston Point, Western Australia

Preston Point is a small headland in the Swan River, Western Australia. It is located in the Perth suburb of East Fremantle, about 12km south west of the city centre. On the other side of the river is Rocky Bay and the suburbs of North Fremantle and Mosman Park.
It was discovered by Sir James Stirling in 1827, and named after Lieutenant William Preston.
