Presentation Sisters

The Presentation Sisters were founded in Ireland by Nano Nagle in 1775. The Sisters dedicated their time to creating schools that would help to educate young people, especially young ladies. Most of these schools are still in operation and can be found all over the world, such as St Mary's College, Hobart.

Nano Nagle is quoted to have said of these Schools:

"I can assure you my schools are beginning to be of service to a great many parts of the world... I often think they will not bring me to heaven as I only take delight and pleasure in them." Nano Nagle, foundress of the Presentation Congregation
