Prad am Stilfser Joch (German) or Prato allo Stelvio (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in South Tyrol in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 70 km northwest of Trento and about 60 km west of Bolzano, on the border with Switzerland, and near the Stelvio Pass. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,241 and an area of 51.4 km2.[1]
The municipality of Prad am Stilfser Joch contains the frazione (subdivision) Montechiaro.
Prad am Stilfser Joch borders the following municipalities: Glurns, Laas, Müstair (Switzerland), Schluderns, Stilfs, and Taufers im Münstertal.
