Poynings

Poynings is a village and civil parish in the Mid Sussex District of West Sussex, England. It is located on the north side of the South Downs near Devil's Dyke, 5 miles (8ha) north-west of Brighton, . The civil parish covers an area of 665.5ha and has a population of 287 persons (2001 census).
There is also a popular country pub, the "Royal Oak". A nice garden center called Rushfields is nestled at the bottom of the south downs
