Talk:Power window

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The history of the power window is an interesting subject. I've never been able to find enough information to get an exact chronology of it, unfortunately, but I'm sure this article is not exact. Hydraulic power windows were in Lincolns, and probably other marques, in the 1930's. The 1946 date probably refers to electrically-driven windows, but is not specific. I hope someone can add more data to sharpen up this article. RivGuySC 16:20, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Uncited material

The text: " power windows were invented by plumer ernest dobbs sr, from benton arkansas." was provisionally removed from the article, as it is not grammatical and is uncited. Verification please. - Ballista 11:13, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
