Literally meaning "House of pozole" is a very popular Mexican traditional cafeteria founded in 1972, with more than 25 locations and that is located mostly across Mexico City and some other important cities. It offers a wide variety of traditional Mexican food, but pozole is the speciality of the house, with four different kinds of pozole from which to choose (including white, red or green). One can also choose pork or chicken in one's pozole, or "light pozole" (no meat). It is offered in three different portion sizes, with bowls specially designed for pozole. Sliced lettuce, onions and radishes are offered as garnishes. Potzocalli also offers many other seasonal specials like seafood and special beer and pozole combos on Thursdays (known as "Jueves Pozoleros") during the Mexican Soccer League season.
