Talk:Post-Keynesian economics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Two comments for someone who cares about this topic to look into further:

1) Bad link: The link to Paul Davidson take one to an article about a screenwriter named Paul Davidson, not the economist.

2) I am not an expert on PK economics, but I believe the modern Post Keynesian economists are rather explicit on (always) insisting that Post Keynesian be spelled withOUT the dash between Post and Keynesian. I believe this is because, in their view, there was in fact a much earlier group of folks, much closer to Keynes time (circa 1946-1955) that used the dash and called themselves "post-Keynesian." Although I'm not certain, I believe Hyman Minsky was one of the (earlier) 'p-K' folks, while Paul Davidson is one of the (late-20th C. and early 21st C.) 'P K' folks; furthermore, Paul D. is, I believe, the editor of a major P K journal.

I just googled him, and found that, indeed:

   Paul Davidson, Editor
   Journal of Post Keynesian Economics

So wikipedian fact checkers and 'Post-K' wikipedia page updaters, have at it.

I would guess Paul D. might email you with a few factoids if you were to ask him.

Enjoy.
