[edit] Fife Council Promotional Postal Orders

The Fife Council Promotional Postal Orders were the only P.P.O.s that were issued only in Scotland. They were first issued in 1996, and they were discontinued on the 30 March, 2001. There were 2 types of these P.P.O.s issued;

A type with the bridge logo of the Fife Council.

A type that had the inscription FIFE COUNCIL SHOPPING DELIVERY SERVICE.

There were two denominations issued - £10 and £20 ones.

They could not be cashed in at the post office, but could only be used at the stores that were participating in the scheme.
