The Positive Internet Company Ltd is a British Web hosting service provider. It was the first UK LAMP only hosting company, starting on November 18, 1998.
Initially providing only shared web hosting Positive Internet has grown its portolio of services to include dedicated and managed GNU/Linux servers.
Positive is known for its distinctive giraffe branded logo and its unusually understated slogan: We're good.
In February 2006 Positive Internet entered the record books by hosting the Ricky Gervais Show podcast, and was officially recognised by The Guinness Book of Records as hosting the most downloaded show.
The company supports a number of Free Software projects, including the hosting of a Debian distribution mirror, Richard Stallman's website and the Geograph British Isles project
