Port Loring, Ontario

Port Loring, Ontario is a community located on highway 522, approximately half-way in between two major north-south routes: Highway 69 (Sudbury to Toronto) & Highway 11 (Northbay to Toronto). Neighboring communities include: Loring, Arnstein,and Golden Valley.

Historically, Port Loring was an important logging centre along the French River water system. Currently, Port Loring is known for its tourism industry focused primarily on camping, hunting (deer), and fishing.

Port Loring boasts several lakes, including Long Lake and Duck Lake.
