Port Gamble, Washington
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Port Gamble is a bay on the western shore of the Kitsap Peninsula in western Washington, lying near the entrance to Hood Canal. The unincorporated communities of Port Gamble and Little Boston, part of Kitsap County, lie on either side of the mouth of this bay. It has a wide range of shops from Best Friends Antiques to an old fashioned General Store.
The town named after the bay is located on a point on the Kitsap Peninsula where Port Gamble opens off of Hood Canal. Port Gamble is a popular tourist destination, thanks to its location near several cities and its quiet, picturesque downtown. It is a great retirement town.
