The school's athletic team is the Pirates. The school's much-vaunted Model United Nations team and Marching Band are some of the nation's best.
The School's basketball team is one of the prides of the school, and has won 4 District Championships

The school's Model United Nations (MUN) is one of the best in the nation. The MUN team currently has won both national and international conferences. In addition, the MUN team has won the state championships consecutively for many years.
