From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Porsgrunn Sykehjem is a hospital in Porsgrunn, Norway. The building is reportedly haunted. The hospital was first opened in 1902 but the house was rebuild in 1932. In the 1980s the hospital was ravaged by fire.

Both staff and patients have witnessed seeing ghosts. One of the ghosts has been identified as being the spirit of the head nurse that once worked at the hospital, and people have also been able to smell her perfume: Eau de Cologne 4711. One staff member claims also to have seen a ghost boy at the end of a hallway.

In 2006 when some the staff refused to work at night, a priest was called to bless the hospital from the ghosts, according to the newspaper Telemarksavisa. [1]
