Pontardawe Rugby Football club is a rugby club based in Pontardawe, small town in the valley of the River Tawe in South Wales.

They compete in Division 5 of the South West Wales ASDA League. The nucleus of the Ponty team are youngsters. The two Head Coaches are Mal Jones and Steve Rees and Team Manager is Mark Jones. Captain for the season 2006/7 is Nigel Williams.

Over the years Pontardawe RFC has produced a number of first-class rugby players and coaches. In 2007 they celebrate their 125th year of being a WRU member club. They have a legend who drinks in the club called Martin Glyn (MG) and people who drink there say "Im Martin Glyn".
