Pomacochas Lagoon is located in the eastern edge of the Andes mountain range, in Peru. Located near the town of the same name, Pomacochas and to the north of Chachapoyas, it is at a height of 2150 m. It is one of the biggest lagoons in Peru with an area of 12 square kilometers and a maximum depth of 80 meters.
