Hi, I'm an English student living in Durham. If you want an article's grammar or writing fixed, I'm your man. I don't like research very much, but sometimes on rainy days I might do a little. It is a bit of a mission of mine to make sure that the pages I edit have the correct encyclopedic tone. Wikipedia:Guide_to_writing_better_articles is a policy article that more people need to read.
I'm currently trying to put together some current and recently-historical maps for Somalia and, less urgently, Mogadishu. I want them to show which warlord controls which part of the country in particular, though other maps would be interesting too. I'll be compiling the maps on this userpage, and anyone is welcome to add them and suggest how they might be put together. If anyone is at all interested, please comment on my discussion page and I'd be pleased to have your help. I'm not much good with image-editing programs (I can just about handle Microsoft Paint) but I think I should be able to handle the research side of things fairly well. If you have any expertise or experience in putting together maps for Wikipedia or other projects, I would REALLY appreciate your assistance.
Thanks, Polocrunch.
