I just watched the Classic Albums documentary about Nevermind. In it, Charles R. Cross and Krist Novoselic recount the story of the inspiration for Polly. On the article here, a date of 1987 is mentioned. However, in the documentary, a paper clipping is shown on screen, from the Washington News, with a date of March 17th 2000. Cross goes on to state the incident took place at the Community World Theatre. Of course, it's entirely possible the clipping was for some reason running a follow-up, or that the clipping was mocked-up by the documentary team to add a visual element. --GetThePapersGetThePapers 11:23, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
