I hardly think that the Karsai references should be considered the primary ones for this article. The Reeve 1991 reference is far more general and covers a lot more information. The rather splendid book "The Natural History and Evolution of Paper-Wasps" Edited by S. Turillazzi and M. J. West-Eberhard is probably the best reference that should be included.

Also, Hamilton's involvement in this genus should definately be noted, after all it was one of the first groups Hamilton tested kin selection theory on (Hamilton 1964 - The genetical evolution of social evolution I and II, Journal of Theoretical Biology, 7, 1-52).
