Polgara Demon

The Polgara Demons were a race of fictional demons in the US television program Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They appeared only once, in the Season 4 episode "The I in Team".
By this time, Buffy Anne Summers had joined The Initiative, but had already become suspicious of Maggie Walsh, the program director. In this episode, Buffy, her boyfriend Riley Finn and other Initiative commandos are ordered to hunt a Polgara Demon, classed by Walsh as "Sub-T-67119 demon class, Polgara species".
The Initiative's Dr. Angleman noted that the Polgara was capable of releasing bone skewers from its forearms during combat. He also warned the team not to damage the arms while attempting to capture it, much to Buffy's confusion.
The team, led by Buffy and Riley, use taser guns and nets to ensnare the Polgara, which is a greenish-yellow, scaly demon with red eyes and wrists running across its head. It was later killed by Walsh and Angleman while in captivity. The pair removed its arms and grafted one to their pet project, Adam.
Anya reveals that Polgaras are barely sentient and that their metabolism forces them to feed every two hours.
