Why did the Pokemon Center New York ban the figurines:

  • Jynx
  • Elekid
I think Jynx was banned because people seem to think it's supposed to resemble a black woman - which may, in a way, seem racist. I don't see it. And Elekid was probably banned because of its resemblence to a plug (kids might wanna plug it in). This may not be the case. Just a theory. MasterXiam 06:43, 13 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Inconsistency

The text says there are four Pokémon Centers in Japan, but it lists five. Was this a typo? Ron Stoppable 00:10, 5 December 2005 (UTC)

I think it's more likely it's an archæism (is that the right word?) The part saying that there are four in Japan was written before the 5th one opened, while the list was written after it opened.

[edit] Reorganization

The intro was too long, and repeated stuff that was already within the "In the Anime" and "In the Video Game" subtitles, so I just copied and pasted that stuff into their respective sections. The problem is that now the sections themselves are repetitive, so I tagged the article as needing cleanup. I'm writing this here because there isn't a "Cleanup:redundant or repetitive" tag.
