[edit] "A" Story

Abe invites Hal to his house for poker and tells Lois, who then reminds him that he promised her dance lessons. Lois lets him go play with Abe and his friends. Hal realizes that all of them are...different. They are all black. He feels humiliated after the game and does not want to tell Abe. He gets tense throughout the entire week. At one point, Hal accidentally lashes out at Stevie. Abe, of course, gets mad at him and Hal brings up his problem with the differences between him and Abe's friends. Abe thinks he means racially, but Hal is upset because all of his friends are professionals. Abe tells Hal he stinks at poker and Hal challenges him to a game. Afterwards, Hal and Abe settle their differences and become friends again.

[edit] "B" Story

Lois now has no dance partner(see above) and decides to take Reese. She attends the dance lessons and her teacher says that she, herself, dances like a professional. Meanwhile, Reese starts to charge elderly women to dance with him. He uses the money to buy Dewey a nice model airplane, only to destroy it right in front of him. Dewey gets his revenge by recording Reese's elderly companionship. After many lessons, Lois' instructor says she's too good for him and that her next step would be in an advanced class across town. She believes him, until Dewey shows a tape, proving that she is a horrible dancer and that he was trying to get rid of her. She decides to quit the dancing lessons.
