Point Piper is a small harbourside, eastern suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Point Piper is arguably the most lucrative suburb in Australia, home to the most expensive and exclusive homes in Australia. The main road running through Point Piper is 'Wolseley Road,' its status stands as Australia's ultimate address.

Point Piper is located on Sydney Harbour, beside the suburbs of Rose Bay, Bellevue Hill and Double Bay. Point Piper is 6km east of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the Municipality of Woollahra. There are only 10 streets in Point Piper. The postcode is 2027. Property writer Cindy Martin calculated in 2002 that the total value of the properties on the 1km waterfront section of Wolseley road was worth in total $720 million.

Point Piper was named after Captain John Piper (1773-1851), a Scottish-born military officer, who arrived in the colony in 1792 and built his mansion here on 190 acres of land granted in 1816. After becoming corrupt and attempting to drown himself he sold his holdings at Point Piper, Rose Bay, Neutral Bay and Petersham for £5,000.

In 2002, an Australian record price was achieved for a residential property when Altona, at 54-56 Wunulla Road, sold for $28 million.
