The Poemarian Empire was a tribe in the game TribalWars and also originating from ancient times. Its establishment reaches back to 2004 when General Crassus Simpsonius induced Andronicus Marius into the honorific position of 'King Poe'. This title ceased to exist when the dominate republic of old was transformed into the Poemarian Empire. Andronicus Marius was reinvented the political caste of the empire following a series of revenge by the rival NSA faction and the political fallout of a few members who ousted the emperor in a coup. The empire was organised into ministries, of which the most notorious was the Ministry of Secret Services which facilitated numerous espionage missions and conspiracies.

In 2006 the Empire was established in the game TribalWars as a tribe with less than 200 points. However the combined wit of Cicero's great conniving ways and Marius' great guidance, the Empire came to expand rapidly. The 32nd week of the game saw the PME soar from 409 points to 5092 points. The next week, the tribe increased exponentially to 22950 points following the annexation of the Guardian Knights. The dangerous nature of the Poemarian diplomacy saw the capital attacked by the infidels. Campus Martius, the village of Andronicus Marius, fell into stagnation.

The villages under the Duke's ownership increased after surviving the initial attacks. Two villages, Campus Poemarianus (2500 points) and Campus Aquilae (10900 points) were captured in quick succession, bringing the duke to an all time high of more than 20k points. This period was marked by a great amount of stability in the tribe. At its height it was ranked 72 with 1.42 million points.

In 2006 Cicero campaigned against a seriously addicted patient of LimeWire disease, called Pramodh Nayagam Sacerdoti Pedi Hindu.
