I joined Wikipedia on August 5, 2005.

My immediate concern is to try improving and updating the article on the Franck-Hertz experiment. This revision will be along the lines, and for the reasons, outlined in my personal website [1].

Preparing the complete article will take some time.

August 8, 2005. As a first step I added to the present article an external link to an up-to-date reference list.
