Pneumatic action

Pneumatic action in reference to pipe organs describes a pneumatic linkage from a key or other console control operated by the organist, to one or more valves that control the flow of air into one or more pipes in the organ. Pneumatic action gives a lighter touch (easier to press keys) than tracker action, while retaining some of the desirable expressivity.
