The Plymouth Evening Herald is Westcountry Publication's Plymouth-based newspaper. It serves Plymouth and its surrounding communities of Devon and Cornwall.
The Evening Herald is today as much a vital part of the community in Plymouth as it has been for more than a century. An unrivalled coverage of the events in Plymouth is produced daily to entertain and inform readers on what is most important to their lives. The Evening, paid-for newspaper has a circculation of 40,385 and a readership figure of 119,627 (Jan-Jun 2006) and is owned by the Northcliffe Newspapers Group, part of the Daily Mail & General Trust.
