Plume (Japanese: はね - Hane) is the fourth episode of season 1 of the Air TV series originally aired 2005-01-27.

Kano strangles Yukito at her zombie-like state near the shrine hard enough to leave a mark before falling unconscious. Back at the clinic, Hijiri apologises for Kanos behaviour and explains that Kano's unusual symptoms started the first summer their mothers death. While visiting the annual festival around the shrine, Kano wanders off around the shrine finally arriving to a small cupboard containing a single bright feather. Hijiri explains that since the day Kano had acted strangely.
