Talk:Plot Summary of Eureka Seven (anime)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
=> The Promised Land
"Eureka conffessed her love for Renton."
=> Second Summer of Love
"That was when they had their first kiss."
Is this necessary in this plot summary? Certainly, Renton and Eureka's relationship is one of the main thrusts of the plot, but I think that this would be too much of a spoiler for those who haven't seen episodes 46 and 50, and it would be unnecessary for those who have.
I don't know, what do those of you watching this article (all 4 or 5 of you ;) think?

Well, the page is already all spoilers anyway, and their first kiss has been mentioned for quite a while as something important. I'd keep it, but if more people want to delete it, I don't think it would hurt the article or anything melodiester 19:30, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it is necessary. One of the main plot points is the relationship between Eureka and Renton. dposse 16:19, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Amazing
For me, to read this and know that somebody WROTE this, WOW. Good job guys. I just watched this tonight, and now I understand the whole thing. This is deep. t.z0n3

- Now, now, don't be too humble. ;) The restructuring and proofreading are well appreciated... although I don't know if we can call this a stub. 24.4.105.240 11:34, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- You don't think it can be expanded? You think this Summary is complete? dposse 16:18, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
- As far as the major plot points go, I think it's complete. Arguably, it's missing a few things, like episode 25, but by and large we have just about everything in the show that one might find in a plot summary. We could go through every episode and fish out every last detail, but then it would cease to be a summary... 24.4.105.240 00:38, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Renton and Eureka
What happens to them at the end. Do they just stay there at the command cluster?
- Well, they somehow float back down to the Earth. We're not told all the details of what happens to them after the Second Summer of Love, just that they're away together and their family is waiting for them. 24.4.105.240 05:48, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
I've heard rumors a 51 episode, do you know if thats true?
- Didn't they discuss this in the talk section of E7 already? From what I gather, the so-called 51st episode "New Order" is merely a stage performance of a possible scenario they had whilst hashing out the plot of the series. (Granted, that's just a guess of mine; it was a stage performance at a music festival.)Magus Melchior 06:07, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] You people are amazing.
Whoever you are, please write the full plot summary for all the popular series (in the detailed style of the plot summary for Eureka Seven):
-Gundam Seed
-Higurashi
-etc...
Believe it or not,
1) I read every word in this plot summary.
2) Your efforts for spending time to write such a good plot summary haven't gone to waste.
3) And I want to say a big thank you for writing it.
GOOD JOB!
- Admittedly, it's fun to write detailed summaries like this one, but an objection has been raised elsewhere that:
- Such summaries are often way too lengthy and may unnecessarily require article splits
- The writing style, while immersive, isn't exactly what one would expect in an encyclopedic summary of fiction. Well, at least, in Wikipedia. (per WP:WAF)

- Whether you prefer the current style over a more out-of-universe one is irrelevant. You can't force someone not to read an article, nor should we risk getting this article deletion-tagged just because most people would rather not change it. Magus Melchior 01:53, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

- I'm thinking of going through and try to "translate" this into an out-of-universe perspective (the parts that I wrote while I was an anon user), more for practice than anything. Magus Melchior 01:23, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
