[edit] Image Tagging Image:6jigsm.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:6jigsm.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Longhair 00:20, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Oi!
How come you banned me on Lostpedia for creating pages that clearly stated they were rumors, and could only be confirmed by ABC Medianet?! A lot of other members did the same thing, but did they get banned too? I don't think so. --SilvaStorm
- What about the person who created the Not in Portland page? And apart from that, banning me doesn't help, as I have no other way to contact you (besides this). I'm not a vandal or anything, and I understand that these pages shouldn't be made, but what about the person who creates it before confirmation? Do you ban them too? --SilvaStorm
- Yeah, I'm sorry, I didn't think it would be such a problem since the page/s could just be locked until confirmation, as was done with the Not in Portland page originally. So are you saying that any time I create a page relating to something in the future, I will be banned? Is it just me or does that seem a little harsh? Bans should be for people who seek to create havoc, not for those who are trying to inform and keep up-to-date members of the Lost community. I would like it if you removed the ban, and might as well use this opportunity to ask you this: Is it okay if I make a page titled "Season 3, Episode 7" which can be a placeholder for that episode until we have a confirmed title? It would be useful, especially for the talk and theories pages. Thanks. --SilvaStorm
- By the way, wasn't my source on the Kimberly Estrada talk page enough (the audio interview)? --SilvaStorm
- Okay, I understand. Will you remove the ban? As I've said before, I only want to help improve Lostpedia. --SilvaStorm
- Thanks for removing it. In future, if for whatever reason you are going to ban me, could you please let me explain myself before possibly banning me? I don't do things without good reason (and I will read the rules again). --SilvaStorm
- Yeah, hi, the ban is still active...could you remove it? --SilvaStorm
- Is this really the place to discuss events on another wiki? --Milo H Minderbinder 15:56, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Um, for some reason I am still banned on Lostpedia, but it says it was done by Santa. Could you unblock me? Thanks. --SilvaStorm

I was referring to his bringing it up here in the first place, not to your response, Plkrtn. Sorry I wasn't clear. I do agree that people can be touchy about the whole mention of it. --Milo H Minderbinder 15:15, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
