Plinky

Band which contained Emily Whitehurst and Brian Bourke, who later went under the monikers, Agent M and Brian Plink when the two members joined Tsunami Bomb. Band featured on a split EP with Tsunami Bomb titled B-Movie Queens with Plinky contributing the songs Mushy Love Song and For You.

The two bands folded and fused to become Tsunami Bomb with Whitehurst and Bourke from Plinky, and Dominic Davi and Oobliette Sparks from the original Tsunami Bomb. Drummer Gabe Lindeman joined full time in this period.

Despite the bands sounding fairly similar, the result of the fusion proved dramatic and the Mayhem on the High Seas EP showed the bands had made the right choice. As Whitehurst was originally in Plinky and Lindeman only acted as a stand in for Tsunami Bomb to begin with, none of the original Tsunami Bomb lineup were part of Tsunami Bomb when they broke up.
