Pleasant Hill is a village in Miami County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,134 at the 2000 census.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 1,134 people, 423 households, and 326 families residing in the village. The population density was 931.6/km² (2,393.0/mi²). There were 437 housing units at an average density of 359.0/km² (922.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.38% White, 0.09% Native American, 0.18% Asian, and 0.35% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.26% of the population.
There were 423 households out of which 39.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.3% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.7% were non-families. 19.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.10.
In the village the population was spread out with 29.9% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 29.9% from 25 to 44, 21.6% from 45 to 64, and 13.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 91.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.5 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $45,703, and the median income for a family was $50,260. Males had a median income of $38,036 versus $23,750 for females. The per capita income for the village was $18,477. About 2.1% of families and 2.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.6% of those under age 18 and 1.6% of those age 65 or over.
