[edit] The Japanese

Don't you think it's a tad overboard to label everything in Japnanese when Zelda is almost a direct translation of it?

I agree, the game was made in Japanese, so that's the source, and it's not like everyone knows Death Mountain is Desu-Maunten. Scepia 19:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Where the Kokiri fled

I still maintain they did flee indoors. If you go to the village as Adult Link and check inside some of the houses, you will find Kokiri in them.

specualtion: Who said anything about the armies of Ganondorf physically entering the village? He could have just threw a curse in their direction.

It's common knowledge that the Kokiri can navigate through The Lost Woods and use it for a refuge, where as others simply get lost and assumably degrade into Stalfos. However, both the Kokiri Village and The Lost Woods are protected by the Great Deku Tree, which is why Ganon cursed it to death. No Deku Tree, no defense. That's why Link destoys Ghoma, it allows the Deku Sprout to grow as a contingency. EreinionImage:RAHSymbol.JPG 22:46, May 24, 2005 (UTC)

Got an account now. Question: where does it say that the Kokiri fled to the forest? In game? (Certainly not in the manual, I don't think Nintendo would make a foul-up like that). Megarockman 10:38 24 May 2005 (CDT)

Moving this question here. I'm *really* not the best person to ask, my knowledge of the game is very lacking... I really don't recall. But I'm sure someone else will know. Master Thief GarrettTalk 03:49, 25 May 2005 (UTC)
Well, I guess if all else fails, I could always wait until I return home from college, play the game again, and find out for myself. Megarockman 11:21 PM 24 May 2005 (CDT)

I believe it is stated in-game. I know that little girl that you meet for the first and last time in The Lost Woods tells you that all who enter and get lost turn into Stalfos, or even Skullkids. I tried Googling something on the Kokiri hiding in The Lost Woods and was actually confirmed by other fansites. To find where it's exactly stated I think you'll have to play again, but if I had to guess, I'd think the answer lies in The Great Deku Tree, Mido, or Saria. [edit] Chronological or alphabetical list?

This page is at a pretty important stage, as this is the point at which the page is so long, something has to be changed. So, should the page be left as a chronological list, or changed to an alphabetic one? As the page is now, there are obvious problems, such as locations that recur later in the game but are listed earlier. So, which should this be? Or another way? Scepia 19:47, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Colors

I removed the colors, they might have been confusing and didn't really add any information. Lifeboat 17:48, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

I must ask, however, why did you remove the bolding? Thank you. Scepia 04:42, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ganondorf's Tower

I was looking over the official walkthrough quickly, and saw that Ganondorf's Tower is listed as a place, seperate from Ganon's Castle. Is it true that IN GAME the title on the screen says Ganondorf's Tower (the titles are white, by the way, and they appear when you enter an area). I believe it is true, I just wanted confirmation. Also, are there any more titles in that area, IN GAME? (Perhaps the title of the area changes when one gets down to the bottom to fight Ganon. Scepia 19:11, 24 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fire Temple music

I think there needs to be more on this because it sounds a little vague. Like, I really have no idea whats the version 1.0 and 1.1 cartridges, how Nintendo was forced to changed it, etc. "THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED!" 04:51, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

I think there was three versions of the game. The Gold Cartridge (which had the swordless Link bug in it), then two grey ones. The first grey one fixed the Gold's bugs and the second changed Ganon's blood at the end from red to green. I'm not sure when the Fire Temple music changed, but it does sound differently than what I'm used to on the Official Sound Track for the game. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 10:06, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Is there anyway to tell which version someone would have? and you would a sample of the 2 versions of the fire temple music would you (or know where to hear it)? 2.) So which version would have the original music of the Fire Temple? "THROUGH FIRE, JUSTICE IS SERVED!" 04:36, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
