Hello! I registered as a Wikipedian at the start of July, 2006.

I'm older than I should be, born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada some decades ago. I have lived in Holland Landing (in York Region, north of Toronto) since 1994, and I work for a major computer company in Markham.

I have a 16-year-old daughter who is studying voice through the Royal Conservatory of Music (Toronto) and who performed in Opera Atelier's production of Mozart's The Magic Flute in November/06, as one of a trio of spirits. Daddy's a wee bit proud, as you might have guessed.

I spend a lot of my Wikipedia time on articles about places and things in York Region, Ontario watching out for vandals and adding bits where I can, particularly related to Education in Ontario. I started the articles for:

and have developed the articles for Bigwin Island, Essex County, Ontario and York Region.
