[edit] Computer Music

Hi Phil. Thanks for the invite to join WikiProject_Computer_Music. I'm interested in the subject but I'm not sure how much I can contribute to its revival as a Wikiproject. You might consider joining Wikipedia:WikiProject_Media and meld some of the content into there. Also WikiProject_Biography might have a nice way to fit the Computer music artists into a class. You can use User:Pkirlin/CM or similar as a 'worksheet'. At some point the inactive Wikiprojects will most likely be subject to deletion. If you start such a page, please notify me and I'll put it on my watchlist. -- CQ 09:32, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Music projects

When you get it up and running, could you please let me know? :-) I know a number of Wikipedians who would be interested. A while ago I was thinking of doing some sort of "WikiProject - GFDL music" but wasn't aware that there was this project around. --HappyCamper 02:37, 19 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Baseball on Wikicities

Hi Pkirlin, Googie Man here. I wanted to ask you something as a fellow Wikipedian baseball fan. Jimbo and Angela have made a new webstie called Wikicities. This link in particular will take you to the baseball Wikicity. As you'll see it's similar to Wikipedia, but my hope is this will allow baseball fans to do more and different things, like reporting on games, in depth statistics, create mulitple pages for pictures, and whatever else baseball fans care to create. I think also Wikicities would be an even better place to write your article on clutch hitting. You've clearly done great work on Wikipedia and I was hoping you'd like to get this baseball Wikicity off the ground. Please let me know what you think either at my talk page, or you can email me at terry@wikia.com. Thanks! Googie Man(Talk), 20:30, 4 January 2006.

I have reverted a recent edit you made to the article Long Reliever. You did not provide an edit summary, and I could not determine whether the edit was vandalism or a constructive contribution. In the future, please use edit summaries. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. From review of your userpage, it would seem that the edit could have been in good faith, but in instances where something is blanked, I generally revert. Leave a message for me if I reverted in error. KC9CQJ 00:16, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

In that instance, I'll tag my revision as a mistake and redirect the article to Long reliever. Perhaps Long reliever (baseball) would be a better fit? KC9CQJ 00:20, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Whichever, you could tag the Long Reliever article as CSD if you really wanted. Yes, you get to be on my mistake page...all three of them :-) KC9CQJ 00:25, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Massachusetts/Maryland connection

Hi Pkirlin,

Just wanted to say hi because I too am a Baltimore Orioles fan living in Western Massachusetts. I grew up here; my parents are former UMass professors. I was born an O's fan since my uncle used to be a reliever for them (Dick Hall, retired in '71). I love to try to get down to Camden Yards at least once or twice a year. I also enjoy playing softball. BTW, I can't begin to say how jealous I am that you started the B&O Warehouse article! I'll have to contribute something useful to that one! Have a great one!--Mmpartee 15:02, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Harry Potter book 7

Hi there,

I'm working out a few new traces as to how things might go in the final Harry Potter book. I take my derivation from my latest reading all the 6 books. This thing about "Harry's Class" is entirely possible. It's even most likley that Ms. Rawling talked about Dumbledore's Army when she said someone from Harry's class would become a teacher at Hogwarts. So please don't delete the remarks about this from the article any more.

Yours Max --Maxl 23:46, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
