Piveteausarus was a megalosaurid dinosaur from the Middle Jurassic of Europe known largely from a fossilized braincase. The fossil is similar to Allosaurus, but the braincase is larger, and the eye 'crests' are not as pronounced. It is estimated to be 36ft (11m) long and weighed almost 2 tonnes.

The type species is Piveteausaurus divesensis, reclassified by Taquet and Welles in 1977. It was originally described as Eustreptospondylus divesensis by Walker in 1964.
