[edit] Add new sections to the *BOTTOM* of talk pages, not the top.
It makes archiving difficult, and isn't where people expect to find new comments (adding new sections in such a way can be easily done using the "+" beside "edit this page" in the default/Monobook skin). Thank you. - SoM 19:15, 8 November 2005 (UTC)
- Doesn't using the "+" feature prevent the edit from being shown on an edit history, though? I seem to remember that happening with the Reference Desk, but I haven't tested it formally; however, these days I start everything by simply hitting the 'edit' button. ~GMH talk to me 21:56, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Godfather: the Game: exploration?
I noticed that you edited the term non-linear to link to the article on non-linear exploration, but is The Godfather: The Game more role-playing or actual exploration? I haven't played the game itself, so I don't know for sure, but the description around it seems to imply more decision-making nonlinearity (i.e. role-playing) than explorational features. ~GMH talk to me 21:56, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- By the way, I added a response to your response on my talk page. ~GMH talk to me 01:29, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding Image:Userbox prefer.png
I noticed that you have replaced a version of Image:Userbox prefer.png I uploaded with your original version, which I feel has some problems. Firstly, the picture has compression artifacts, probably due to a bad source image for the PNG. Secondly, the style of the smiley does not match that of the box, which makes the image as a whole look weird. Thirdly, the coloured background limits the image's flexibility. As such, I have created a new version of the image which address all these problems. So I am not sure why you reverted it...
[edit] Regarding Dog Logan
The ears, claws, and teeth of Dog logan can be seen here:
I'll think you'll agree that Dog as an adult was a lot more animalistic than he was a child.
As for the tracking abilities, the very fact that he was able to find Wolverine so quickly (years have passed, Dog had no leads whatsoever, and a wrong name) is very impressive.
He was walking around Canada, with nothing but a layer of animal skin (no shirt) sugguest he is more resistant than normal people. This again implies hunting and tracking abilities. Remember he had no weapons. This implied that he killed that animal with his hands.
The affair between Thomas and Elizabeth was confirmed by John Howlett Jr. in Wolverine: The End. It is an alternate future, but the event still diaverged from the 616 timeline.
Hope this clears thing up. T-1000 03:22, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Saskrotch.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Saskrotch.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 12:51, 12 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Info on image, please
Please go to Image:Saskrotch.jpg and edit that image description page to give the source (URL, if online; ISBN, if scanned from a book; and if you've taken the image yourself, just say so) and the licensing status (the list of image copyright tags might be useful) of this image. All our images should have this information; images without source or license info will be deleted after seven days. Thank you. Lupo 13:27, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
