The Pittsburgh Industrial Railroad (AAR reporting marks PIR) is a Class III short-line railroad operating about 42 miles of track over the Chartiers Branch in southwest Pennsylvania. It is owned by RailTex, who bought the line from Conrail in 1996. It was sold to the Ohio Central and renamed the Pittsburgh and Ohio Central Railroad in 2000.
