Piovera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km east of Turin and about 11 km northeast of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 791 and an area of 15.6 km2.[1]
Piovera borders the following municipalities: Alessandria, Alluvioni Cambiò, Montecastello, Rivarone, and Sale.
