Piotr Ivanovich Zaev (Russian: Пётр Иванович Заев) (born July 26, 1953 in Lipetsk) is a former boxer, who won the silver medal for the USSR in the Heavyweight division (91 kg) at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. In the final he was defeated by titleholder Teófilo Stevenson of Cuba. Piotr Zaev trained at the Dynamo sports society until 1975 and since then - at the Armed Forces sports society.
